Vacuum Cleaner

What you need

  1. Vacuum Cleaner, Vacuum Cleaner: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Remove loose parts and the cover.

    • Remove the dust bag.

    • Remove the filter.

    • Remove the filter on the back of the vacuum.

    • Remove the rubber seal.

    • Cut the power cable.

    • Remove the case lid.

    • Some vacuum cases need to be unscrewed to remove.

    • Pry open the case.

    • Remove the case.

    • Remove the cable drum.

    • Remove the cable spring.

    • Remove all the metal from the plastic parts of the cable drum.

  10. Vacuum Cleaner: step 10, image 1 of 1
    • Pry off the plastic cover of the switch.

    • Remove the nut.

    • Remove the PWB.

    • Remove the screws that connect the PWB to the aluminium.

    • Cut the wires of the PWB.

  12. Vacuum Cleaner: step 12, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the motor.

  13. Vacuum Cleaner: step 13, image 1 of 1
    • Separate the remaining materials according to their type and go on with the appropriate data sheet (e.g. aluminium, ferrous metals, plastic, further PWBs, etc.).

    • Make sure the plastic parts are completely free of metal pieces.
