Use this guide to replace a cosmetically damaged latch side cover.

What you need

  1. Canon EOS Rebel XS Latch Side Cover Replacement, Canon EOS Rebel XS Latch Side Cover Replacement: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the two 4.5mm (.18in) long black screws from the side cover using a #00 Phillips screwdriver.

  3. Canon EOS Rebel XS Latch Side Cover Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1

    • On the bottom, remove the last long screw with the Phillips Screwdriver.

    • Use tweezers to lift the panel.
