• Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the twenty-seven 12 mm screws from the dark gray bottom panel.

• Remove the bottom panel by lifting the bottom panel up and outward from yourself.

• Flip the entire keyboard so the keys face up, and be careful not to let the bottom drop.
• Flip the top half of the keyboard and set onto the bottom half with the internal parts facing up.

• Plug in the soldering iron and set it somewhere safe where it can't catch anything on fire.
• Unscrew the top green circuit board with black and red wires running into it.

• Set the circuit board somewhere flat so it is safe to solder.

• Heat up the solder covering the end of the wires connected to the circuit board. Once the solder melts, remove the wires from the circuit board.

• Melt new solder with your soldering iron, then apply it over the tip of the wire touching the circuit board.

• Once the wires are firmly attached screw the circuit board back onto the keyboard.
