Dismantling doesn't include any harmful steps. Nonetheless workers should wear personal protection equipment like gloves, goggles, apron and robust shoes.

Note: This is a general guide for most high pressure cleaners. As the construction can differ, the dismantling steps mentioned below can vary in their order. However, the described steps show what parts the removal should focus on.

What you need

1. Step 1 High Pressure Cleaner
  Place the high pressure cleaner front down.
  
  Unscrew and remove the cover.

  Unscrew the case.
  
  If necessary, hammer off the wheels.

  Open the case.

  Keep unscrewing the case.
  
  Remove the water hose.

  Open the mounting splint.

  Open the snap-on attachments.

  Hammer open the pump case.

  Cut the wires.
  
  Unscrew the compressor case.

  Unscrew the compressor.

  Lift off the compressor.

  Remove the compressor oil by pouring into a safe container.

  Clean the motor shaft.

  Separate the remaining materials according to their type and go on with the appropriate data sheet (e.g. aluminium, ferrous metals, plastic, further PWBs, etc.).
  
  Make sure the plastic parts are completely free of metal pieces.
