Dismantling doesn't include any harmful steps. Nonetheless workers should wear personal protection equipment like gloves, goggles, apron and robust shoes.

Note: This is a general guide for most high pressure cleaners. As the construction can differ, the dismantling steps mentioned below can vary in their order. However, the described steps show what parts the removal should focus on.

  1. Place the high pressure cleaner front down. Unscrew and remove the cover. Unscrew and remove the cover.

  2. Unscrew the case. If necessary, hammer off the wheels. If necessary, hammer off the wheels.

  8. Remove the wires. Open the snap on attachment. Open the motor.

    • Open the motor.

  9. Hammer open the pump case. Open the pump case.
    • Hammer open the pump case.

    • Open the pump case.

  10. Cut the wires. Unscrew the compressor case.
    • Cut the wires.

    • Unscrew the compressor case.

  11. Unscrew the compressor. Unscrew the compressor.
    • Unscrew the compressor.

  12. Lift off the compressor. Lift off the compressor.

  13. Remove the compressor oil by pouring into a safe container.

  14. Unscrew the compressor case. Unscrew the compressor case.

  15. Remove the gear.

  16. Clean the motor shaft.

  17. Remove the water pipes.

  18. Separate the remaining materials according to their type and go on with the appropriate data sheet (e.g. aluminium, ferrous metals, plastic, further PWBs, etc.).

    • Make sure the plastic parts are completely free of metal pieces.
