Burning cables to remove metals is very hazardous and must be avoided. Personal protection equipment like goggles and gloves should be worn as splints can snap around while using a side cutter.
What you need

Only the black copper cable embracing the CRT glass body can be stripped manually using a knife or side cutter. All other cables must be processed mechanically.

When the whole black copper cable is cut open, the copper wiring can be pulled out of the insulation.

Store the materials separately.
