This is a step-by-step guide in replacing the battery door

What you need

1. Step 1 Kodak EasyShare LS743 Battery Door Replacement
  Open the battery cover.

  Slide the orange latch sideways to eject the battery.
  
  Remove the battery.

4. Step 3
  Remove 7 screws.
  
  1 (6.25 mm) screw located on the top right corner, next to the view screen.
  
  4 (4.45mm) screws on the bottom of the camera.
  
  2 (2.95mm) screws on the left side of the camera.

5. Step 4
  There will be 2 (5.39mm) screws. Remove the screws in order to remove the lanyard.

  Remove the rear camera casing.
  
  Remove the front casing.

  Remove loose battery door.
