Go to step 1 ↓It is incredibly important to make sure the lens cover is protecting the lens at all times while you are not taking pictures. If the lens breaks, you will have to send your camera in for expensive repairs. Therefore, this guide will walk you through a step by step guide to attach and keep the lens cover in place while you are not taking pictures with the Kodak EasyShare.

Begin by placing the string that is attached to the lens cover underneath the metal bar located on the right side of the camera.

After successfully placing the string through the metal slab, pull the string all the way to the right which will leave enough room to tie the lens cover to the camera.

Next, create a loop with the string and send the lens cover through the loop. This will create a knot to ensure that the lens cover will always remain on the camera.

Lastly, pull the lens cover to the right which will tighten the knot. To conclude, simply attach the lens cover to the lens.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
