Lawn Trimmer

What you need

      • Place the lawn trimmer on your working bench.

      • Unscrew the protective cover.

      • Remove the collection basket.

      • Flip the lawn trimmer over and unscrew the case.

      • Flip it back to its upright position to remove the cover.

      • Unscrew the handle mount.

      • Remove the handle.

      • Cut the wires.

      • Remove the capacitor.

      • Unscrew the motor.

      • Flip the trimmer over to remove the drive shaft.

      • Lift off the drive shaft cover.

      • If necessary, destroy the drive shaft cover with a hammer.

      • Unscrew the case.

      • Remove the drive shaft by hitting it with a hammer.

      • Remove the motor.

      • At the end of the handle, unscrew and open the plastic handle.

      • Remove the string holder.

      • Separate the remaining materials according to their type and go on with the appropriate data sheet (e.g. aluminium, ferrous metals, plastic, further PWBs, etc.).

      • Make sure the plastic parts are completely free of metal pieces.
