PlayStation Controller Port Replacement

What you need

  1. PlayStation Controller Port Replacement, PlayStation Controller Port Replacement: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the parallel port cover on the back of the PlayStation.

    • Flip over the PlayStation and remove the six screws from the bottom.

    • Turn the PlayStation upright. Remove the cover by lifting it up.

    • Remove the two screws securing the controller port to the case.

    • Gently disconnect the ribbon cable from the logic board. This is done by pulling on the blue area of the cable near the connector.

    • Remove and replace the controller port.
