UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply)

What you need

    • Unscrew and open the case.

    • Remove the lead batteries.

    • Cut the wires.

    • Remove the back cover

    • Remove the coil.

    • Remove the wires.

    • Unscrew and remove the PWB.

    • Remove the capacitor.

    • Remove the heat sinks.

    • Remove the coils.

    • Pry off the PWB.

    • Pry off the fan.

  12. UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply): step 12, image 1 of 2 UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply): step 12, image 2 of 2
    • Remove the power supply sockets.

    • If necessary, hammer them out.

  13. UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply): step 13, image 1 of 3 UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply): step 13, image 2 of 3 UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply): step 13, image 3 of 3
    • Separate the remaining materials according to their type and go on with the appropriate data sheet (e.g. aluminium, ferrous metals, plastic, further PWBs, etc.).

    • Make sure the plastic parts are completely free of metal pieces.

    • Store capacitors and batteries seperately.
