The HP Elitebook 840 G1 is a HP laptop that was first released in September of 2013. The laptop has a max turbo speed of 2.9 GHz, a duel core processor, and 4 GB of memory. The laptop comes with an integrated webcam with 1280 x 720 resolution, stereo speakers, a microphone, and a backlit keyboard. It is easily transported with a weight of 3.5 lbs making it well recommended for small or corporate business owners as well as for casual use. The HP Elitebook 840 G1 has not had any recalls and has been well received in terms of reviews. Software included: Cyberlink PowerDVD , Adobe Flash Player, HP Recovery Disc Creator, Skype, Microsoft Security Essentials, Bing Toolbar, HP Connection Manager, HP ePrint, HP Hotkey Support, Credential Manager for HP ProtectTools, Password Manager, HP Client Security, Device Access Manager with Just In Time Authentication, Drive Encryption, and HP Trust Circles Standard. The EliteBook has an Intel Core i5 (4th Gen) 4300U / 1.9 GHz processor.
The HP Elitebook 840 G1 was replaced by the HP Elitebook 840 G2 in January of 2015.
