The HP Pavilion dv2000 Notebook PC was produced in 2007 and was largely an entertainment based PC. It has a 14.1'' widescreen LCD display and weighs 5.4 lbs, offering portability and comfort of use. The microphone and headphone inputs lie directly in front of the touch pad allowing for relative ease when connecting audio devices. It uses an Intel Core Duo 1.66GHz Processor and comes with 1024MB DDR2 of available RAM.
Even though it is an entertainment based PC, the Nvidia Graphics Processor in the dv2000 operates poorly for 3D games. This PC is better suited toward multimedia applications such as watching movies and listening to music. The integrated speakers along the front panel, 1.3 Megapixel camera, and 2 omni-directional microphones integrated above the screen provide the user with an optimum video chatting experience with applications like Skype or MSN video chat. Despite the poorly designed interface(keyboard, mouse buttons, and touchpad), the dv2000 is a sturdy PC.
This page is mainly a stub that exists to point you to the HP Pavilion dv6000 Repair page, which has a lot more info and most of it applies to the dv2000 series as well. Definitely start there with any problems.
